In just 3 years I completed my undergraduate studies at New York University. I was enrolled in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study and I crafted my self-made major, The Perspectives of Public Policy. I wanted to better understand the process behind American public policy decisions, specifically in the fields of social welfare, education, and healthcare. I analyzed United States policies on a global scale, gained a better understanding of social, economic, and political role players, and continued to experience policy outcomes first-hand through various internship and volunteer opportunities.
After working for a few years in marketing and corporate law, I decided to pursue a JD degree to better equip myself for a career in policy and justice. During my time at school, I was excited to support and work with many diverse groups. In my time there, I noticed an absence of space for Jewish students to come together, while also witnessing an increase of attacks on Jewish people on the streets in New York City and United States. Stepping into this leadership role as founder and President of the Jewish Law Students Association opened my eyes to how controversial Jewish existence is to my educated peers. This journey allowed me to come home to my Jewish identity in a way that has never been so strong before. I am so thankful for the many trying experiences while at law school.
Born and raised on Long Island, I've called New York home for my entire life. The city has shaped my undergraduate career and continues to shape my professional goals as I contribute actively to the community. My passions include the visual arts, cooking up new and traditional family recipes, and tutoring & mentoring high school-aged youths.
